History

Clavis was founded in 2020 by the mixologists team led by Antony Kalashnikov. Since then we have grown from a small startup into a company with its own production, warehouses, distribution throughout Russia and other countries and a customer base of over 3000 bars and restaurants HoReCa projects. More than 10 millions cocktails were sold in 2022 together with our partners.

Clavis in Latin means "key". The key to a high mycology for every cocktail and experiment lover.

Our product is difficult to make but easy to use. Our mission is to give everyone an opportunity to make the most delicious drink at home for 60 sec.

I had come a long way from the barman assistant to the close major events organizer. During my work I got wise to a great amount of unusual ingredients and learnt a lot about modern technologies in the sphere of cooking and making beverages.

The idea of creating Clavis came at the beginning of the pandemic, when bars were closed and I became a participant of the project Diageo for bartenders amount the top 100 Russian barmen. We were developing Diageo brands during the project and the wish of building my own brand was on my mind.

Clavis concept is to give people an opportunity to make a drink with new flavors. We use extraordinary combinations that are tasted meticulously by our team. In parallel it turned out to be the easiest way to make ideal cocktails for your guests and yourself.

Come Up with
a Concept

Each taste concept is individual. May be inspired both by Jasmine blossoms in the Botanical Garden and twist on classic cocktail. Our approach to the selection of ingredients remains universal with a main focus on naturalness, quality and uniqueness of the product.

This taste with special history. The flavor was created in 2021 especially for the pop-up bar Gucci. The request was to find a graceful and light fragrance with peach notes that harmonizes well with gin and sparkling wine.

We wanted to create something unique, so we mixed peach with honey bush that has more delicate flavor and subtle honey flavor. Something was lacking and we made a decision to add fresh kaffir lime leaves and tarragon.
The result exceeded all the expectations. This cocktail won guests hearts and became the most demanded.

That’s why the combination of Peach / Honey Bush / Kaffir Lime / Tarragon is in the top of the most desired cordials in the restaurant industry.

Developing
Technology

Creation of new cordials and perfumes is based on the principles of selectivity. Highly trained mixologists work in our laboratory of taste and highlight the best properties from each ingredient all over the world. Therefore, we achieve the perfect balance of acids, textures and colors.

Equipment

Clavis flavors have multistage structure. Due to our technologists’ expertise and modern laboratory equipment we achieved it.

SWB

Steam-water boiler for syrup extraction with a daily volume of 1 to 3 tones.

Soxhlet Extractor

This instrument is used for a continuous hard soluble solids extraction. Such extractor helps to produce an aroma from nuts, beans and grains.

CCT

Cylindrical-conical tankers, in which our cordial is "having a rest" and prepares for bottling.

Ceramic Membrane
Filters

One of the most efficient solutions for purifying our product. Thin porous ceramic membranes in filters are made of metal-ceramic materials under ultrahigh temperatures.
